Darra Goldstein is the founding editor of Gastronomica: The Journal of Food and Culture and the Willcox and Harriet Adsit Professor of Russian at Williams College. She is the author of several books, including A Taste of Russia and The Winter Vegetarian, and has consulted for the Council of Europe as part of an international committee looking into how food may be used to promote tolerance and variety.
