Jean Oram is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling romance author who enjoys writing tear-jerking, laugh-out-loud romances set in tiny towns where opposites attract. She grew up in a community of 100 people (excluding cats and dogs) and only owns one pair of high heels that she has worn three times in the last twenty years. Her life has a recurring school motif, as she grew up in an old schoolhouse, went on to become a ski instructor in the Canadian Rockies, married a teacher, and eventually became a high school librarian. Her daughter's school now has a fundraising committee that she chairs. Jean, her husband, and their two children live in Canada.
