Grandbois, Peter: - Peter Grandbois is the author of The Gravedigger (Chronicle Books, 2006), THE ARSENIC LOBSTER: A HYBRID MEMOIR (Spuyten Duyvil, 2009), NAHOONKARA (Etruscan Press, 2011), and DOMESTIC DISTURBANCES (Subito Press, 2013). His essays and short stories have appeared in numerous journals and been shortlisted for both the Pushcart Prize and Best American Essays. In addition, his translation of San Juan: Memoir of a City (University of Wisconsin Press, 2007) was nominated for a PEN Translation award. He has served as a professor of creative writing and contemporary literature at California State University, and currently teaches at Denison University in Ohio.
