L.Ryan Storms is a dreamer, a writer, and a photographer. She is a member of the SCBWI Eastern Pennsylvania branch and enjoys working in public relations and marketing for her local library. She's had essays published on the front pages of local newspapers, but she prefers to write novels that are close to her heart. She has a bachelor's degree in science. She holds a bachelor's degree in marine science from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in business administration from Marist College, but her true interest has always been writing young adult fiction.
Storms has a cancer-survivor husband, two children, and a rescue zoo that includes two dogs, two cats, and an ex-racehorse. She enjoys hiking, photography, and planning her next big adventure when she's not writing, reading, or keeping her kids in order. Learn more about L.
