Ronald Collins is a Washington, D.C.-based scholar with the First Amendment Center. He is a well-known expert on the law of free expression. The Trials of Lenny Bruce (co-written with David Skover) was named one of the finest novels of the year by the Los Angeles Times. Collins is also the editor of Constitutional Governance in America and the co-author (with Sam Chaltain) of the upcoming We Must Not Be Scared to Be Free: Tales of Free Speech in America. His scholarly publications have published in journals such as the Harvard Law Review, Stanford Law Review, and the Supreme Court Review.
