The UK Breakin' Glossary of Terms


Co-developed with Breakers across the UK.


This book has been produced to support the teaching, learning and assessment processes of UK Breakin' members, reflecting the UK's experiences of Breakin'.


We advise all members to take part in additional health and safety training before attempting the actions in this book. There are Breakin' training sessions and classes taking place across the UK, and we advise all new learners to go to www.ukbreakin.org to find a teacher or training spot to learn the actions safely.


We will be working with teachers and judges to discuss and develop this book for future editions. We have worked in training spots in Wales, Scotland and England and welcome comments and feedback to improve for future editions.
