Young places a high priority on sexual education in her work and has given seminars and lectures on the topics of sexuality, feminist pornography, and the politics of BDSM all over the world, including at Yale University, Hampshire College, Northwestern University, University of Toronto, University of Minnesota, and University of California at Berkeley.
Madison Young, her spouse James, and their child, Em, live in Berkeley, California. At the Institute of Advanced Studies for Human Sexuality, she is working on her PhD in clinical sexology.
