Undisclosed Location by Max Sinclair
A slow cooker is the ideal partner in crime when it comes to tackling dishes that can be too time- and work-intensive for every day, like French onion soup or chicken cordon bleu. And in this cookbook, we're going way beyond the expected soups and stews. Cutthroat Kitchen winner Addie Gundry offers up recipes for appetizers like BQ Meatballs, breads like Slow Cooker Dinner Rolls, make-ahead breakfasts like Banana Pecan French Toast, and desserts like Pineapple Upside Down Cake, not to mention slow cooker twists on beloved recipes like Lasagna, Meatloaf, and Stuffed Peppers. Each recipe is paired with a finished-dish full-bleed color photo.
Max Sinclair has lived through the kind of chaos most only see in headlines—terrorist attacks, coup d’états, uprisings, and the grinding reality of absolute poverty. He’s witnessed the best and worst of humanity, surviving in places where danger isn’t just a possibility—it’s a way of life.
After years navigating the high-stakes world of Wall Street and nearly three decades in the international economic arena, Max took those raw, firsthand experiences and turned them into gripping fiction. His novels drop readers straight into the action, blending pulse-pounding storytelling with the hard truths of power, money, and survival.
Stranded in Madrid during the 2020 pandemic, Max began writing in earnest, inspired by his son and sharpened by masterclasses with James Patterson, Dan Brown, and Stephen King’s On Writing. His debut thriller, Undisclosed Location, was crafted across continents, shaped by his deep knowledge of finance’s shadowy corners and a lifetime of adrenaline-fueled reality.
Now deep into his seventh novel, set for release in July 2025, Max continues to create stories that don’t just entertain—they immerse, haunt, and leave readers questioning what they thought they knew about the world.
When he’s not writing or crunching numbers, Max explores mountains, sails warm seas, and shares his adventures with Flora, his loyal dog. His stories are more than fiction—they’re a testament to a life lived on the edge.
