Arthur Kleinman is Maude and Lillian Presley Professor of Medical Anthropology at Harvard Medical School. Mamphela Ramphele is Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Town. Pamela Reynolds is Professor and Chair of the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Cape Town.
