Watercolor Techniques by Michael Reardon

A comprehensive approach to painting light-filled architectural landscapes, including both urban and natural settings.
Michael Reardon has been working in watercolor for more than 25 years, both as a fine artist and an architectural illustrator. His knowledge of watercolor is extensive and refined. The common theme throughout Michael's painting career has been the depiction of architectural subjects and their interaction with the natural world. His award winning paintings are held in private collections in the United States and abroad, and he is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, and the California Watercolor Association. Michael's work is represented by the Thomas Reynolds Gallery in San Francisco. Feature articles by Michael or about his work have been published in several magazines, including Watercolor Artist, Watercolor, L'Artdel' Aquarelle, Southwest Art, and Plein Air. His paintings have also been featured in Splash 10 and Splash 12. Michael teaches numerous workshops each year and around the country and internationally. In the past six months, he has taught workshops in Canada, Italy, Seattle, and Dallas. Upcoming workshops include Mendocino, North Dakota, and San Jose. Michael is also in demand as a demonstrator for art associations.
