Laurie Krebs draws inspiration for her books from her adventures around the world. She is a former teacher from Connecticut, USA, and a mother and grandmother. She is the author of many globe-trotting titles for Barefoot Books, including We All Went on Safari and Off We Go to Mexico! Grazia Restelli was born in the province of Milan, and studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Brera. She graduated in scenography and in 1992 took a course in illustration at the Academy of Communication Studies in Milan. Her works have been shown in exhibitions all over Italy, and she has illustrated several books for Italian publishers.
