Welsh Pottery by Lynne Bebb
Examines and discusses the context for the manufacture of ceramics in Wales. This book introduces the techniques and methods of production and offers illustrations that help to establish design trends and influences, along with the identification and dating problems, so that the reader can understand some of the complexities of Welsh pottery.
After graduating from the London School of Economics, Lynne Bebb trained as a sculptor and took an MA in Art History. She now practises as a sculptor, exhibiting widely, as well as teaching and lecturing, which enables her to examine both the practical and historical aspects of her subject. She maintains a keen interest in Welsh material culture and has enjoyed and collected Welsh pottery for many years.
