Who Will Be Your Judge by Edie Watney Judd
The two brothers, Billy and Richard are evacuated from London to the country from the bombing. Coming home, the Blitz is still on and they get sheltered at the House of Nazareth where they are in the hands of the evil nuns. Life there is so bad that they prefer to go back to their mother, to the war torn London.
Edie Watney Judd was born in Hungary. She moved to England in 1986. In her spare time she studied writing at The Ardingly College and was inspired to write this book by her tutor Fredrick E Smith. She’s a member of The New Writing South, an associate of the Society of Authors and currently a Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology. Edie regularly sings with the Royal Choral Society and is based between Brighton and London.
