There is a Knox revival going on today with much renewed interest in his writings, and is evidenced by the large Ronald Knox Society of North America.

David Rooney studied history at Oxford and then received a research degree in commonwealth history. He's been a senior lecturer at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (the British Army's initial officer training center) and has written extensively on military battles and World War II. His writings include Burma Victory, Wingate and the Chindits, Mad Mike, Military Mavericks, Guerrilla, and Surrender at New Orleans. He lives in London, England.
