1817. Second Edition. 542 pages. Green marbled boards half bound in brown leather. Vol.II only. Both boards are detached but held in place with white tape across spine. Leather spine is missing. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Text block binding has remained firm. Heavy tanning to corners of endpapers corresponding with leather from boards. Page 455-464 are heavily foxed with some water spots. Corners are moderately dogeared towards the rear. Boards have been heavily rub worn with noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a heavily chipped and spine ends are crushed, with some further splits and chips. Surface tears to front board causing loss of marbled paper.
