Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Label remnants with brown stains to half title page and pages 22 and 23. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Bleaching to both boards. General rub wear all over. Slightly bowed.
