1947. 501 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering to front and spine. Contains an illustrated frontispiece in colour. Pages remain mostly clear and bright with minimal tanning and foxing throughout, light occasional marking. Heavier foxing to endpapers. Previous owner's inscription to front paste-down and front free endpaper. Binding is slightly loose. Boards are moderately marked and stained and have wear to edges, bumping to corners, crushing and fraying to spine. Moderate sunning to spine and edges.
