1940. 376 pages. Unclipped illustrated jacket over brown patterned cloth with blue decoration and lettering. Pages remain mostly clear and bright with minimal tanning and foxing throughout, light occasional marking. Heavier tanning to endpapers. Binding remains firm. Boards are moderately marked and stained and have wear to edges, bumping to corners, crushing and fraying to spine. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Jacket is moderately marked and has moderate edge wear, creases, chips and large tears, some small areas of loss. Repairs have been been made with adhesive tape.
