1856. 424 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Brown cloth. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Top third of spine is coming away from binding, with some loss. Moderate tanning to pages with major rubbing to endpapers and pastedowns with surface tears. Slight dog-eared corners to rough cut pages. Heavy tanning to text block edges with noticeable creasing to guttering. Rear hinge is cracked with exposed netting. Some pages remain uncut. Boards have major rubbing, handling marks and surface scratches with heavy bumping to corners. Heavy sunning to spine and board edges. Front joint is also splitting exposing binding underneath. Fraying to cloth at corners and spine ends. Book is slightly forward leaning.
