Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Insert to half title page. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Black marks overall. Clipped jacket. Panels have moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Small area of loss to edges. Black marks and water staining overall.
