Cracks to guttering, causing pages to become loose. Front free endpaper removed. Water staining to top text block edge. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Heavy black marks, with water staining overall. Book has a pronounced forward leaning.
