About Aileen Milne

Aillen Milne (BA Hons, Diploma in professiona counselling) is a practising counsellor. She worked within a young peoples' counselling service over a period of 7 years and currently works for a counselling agency which provides short-term counselling - both face to face counselling and counselling over the telephone - for many companies and organizations throughout the United Kingdom. She has the experience of working in both short term and longer term counselling and has worked with a wide range of issues. She also has had the experience of both attending and facilitating numerous workshops. Aileen has held workshops with people in schools and with adults in family centres - in the latter she worked mainly with single mothers. She has written for psychology/counselling magazines like 'Self and Society' and is presently working on a therapy self-help book for women. Aileen also has a private practice.
