Our excellent value books literally don't cost the earth
A sweet tale with charmingly stylised illustrations by Spanish Larranage gives Woo an appeal to rival Caspar. * Junior, Sep 2000 * I itched to press out the glossy coloured shapes and make up the 3-D Egyptian tomb complete with moving corpses in 'Mummies', and the UFO model which abducts a human at the turn of a handle in 'Aliens', both by Keith Newstead. Some young friends did complete the models and they were ace! Modestly priced for such distinctive quality, including six pages of background information and cartoons. * Publishers Weekly, Sept 00 *
About Ana Martin Larranaga
Ana grew up in Castilla, in the countryside. She has a large family - three sisters, a brother and fifty-two cousins, most of whom grew up together. She went to a convent which she didn't particularly enjoy and then on to Salamanca University which she loved. There she studied art and met her husband. After their degrees they came over to the UK to learn English and to their surprise they are still here five years later. Her husband is a teacher of modern languages. She loves travelling, walking and the sun.
