Compost Summary

Compost by Clare Foster

Everybody knows that to be a successful gardener you need compost but not everybody knows how to make it or indeed how easy it is to make. It doesn't just come in bags from the garden centre, it doesn't have to smell like a farmyard and it doesn't cost a penny. This book demystifies the art of composting. Furthermore, Clare Foster shares her allotment wisdom, teaching new composters how to garden with their new miracle plant food. With some egg shells, grass cuttings, old banana skins and some help from mould, insects and nature, you can improve your soil, cut down on weeds and get more from your flowers and vegetables.
