When the Giles family decide to buy a grandfather clock because it looks nice they don't realise how much Time will affect their lives. Suddenly their house is filled with lots of clocks with noisy chimes and cuckoos. Peace is restored when the clocks are taken away and the grandfather clock stops at eight o'clock, telling the correct time twice a day, for the schoolbus and bed!.
