In his autobiography, Hilary Hook describes service on the North-West Frontier, big game hunting and polo in India and the Sudan, war service in New Guinea, life with the Camel Corps and safaris in Kenya. In 1984 he was forced to leave his home near Mount Kenya, to return to Wiltshire.
