A little boy loves to make things, but they never turn out right. So he decides to buy an aeroplane kit: with instructions and everything, what could possibly go wrong? But instead of an aeroplane he ends up with a very big, very hairy, real-life mammoth that can FLY! So begins an amazing, breath-taking adventure to the Arctic and back . . . and this little boy finally begins to appreciate his talent for making the wrong thing!
