How do teachers keep their most able students motivated and interested? Our Extension Book is designed for these high flyers. It has an integrated approach, which includes differentiation from B to A and beyond, and covers a range of topics such as language, style, text structure, form, context, and grammar. Activities include comparative tasks, reading analysis, creative writing, and speaking and listening. The book challenges students with a wide breadth of stimulating and unusual texts, and encourages students to develop their own style and opinions. The book is designed for use by students studying AQA Specification A, but can usefully and easily be dipped into by students following other courses.
