About Sally Prue

Sally's first book, Cold Tom, was an instant success, winning the Branford Boase first novel award and the Smarties Silver Award. The Truth Sayer, published in 2007, was shortlisted for the Guardian Children's Books Prize. Sally isn't sure where she was born, but from the time she was adopted she grew up in Hertfordshire. Before she was an author, Sally worked in a paper mill with the rest of her family. She now lives with her husband and has two daughters. When she is not writing she enjoys reading and is strongly interested in nature, arts and crafts.
