Bing Bunny: Something for Daddy sees Bing making a picture with lots of sticky goo, colours, sparkly things and paper. Just when things look like they're finally going OK, Bing stops for a snack and puts down his lovely present for a moment. But where is it? What's happened to it? Uh-oh. Dewan's clever use of layout, colour and perspective emphasise the different moods of the story creating a sense of space, action or surprise. This story contrasts the emptiness of materialism with the warmth of friendship as it follows Crispin's heartwarming journey to understanding."
