Most obviously, billions of packets' of information travel through it every day, for the infinitely various purposes of countless people and organisations. Space platforms increasingly provide important research data for businesses, institutions, and governments. Taxation issues are inevitable. In fact, tax planners have for several years been engaged in designing tax incentives to enhance the development of space commerce. A significant focus of this extraordinary book is an in-depth evaluation of the current U.S. discussion of tax rules designed to stimulate space commerce. For the first time such a debate is placed squarely in its complete context of historic developments and constraints, prevailing tax law (in this case the U.S. internal revenue code), and the body of international and national space law that began with the 1967 Space Treaty. Valuable comparative analysis is provided by examination of corresponding schemes evolving in Canada, Japan, Australia, and France. Specific events, developments, issues, and probabilities dealt with include: the economic significance of the Challenger launch in 1986; the value of F.J. Turner's classic frontier thesis for understanding the new frontier of space; the Commercial Space Launch Act of 1984 (U.S.); the role of the U.S. internal revenue code's foreign tax credit; the 1979 Moon Treaty; remote-sensing and nuclear power; the 1998 Inter-Governmental Space Station Agreement; case law, especially Smith v. United States; multinational vs. unilateral taxation schemes; benefits of space commerce for society as a whole; and competitiveness and economic efficiency.

You could walk into a bookstore, go to the Christian book section, and find several books written about worship-after all, Christianity and worship go together like the church and salvation. According to Jesus's words in John chapter 4 in his dialogue with the Samaritan woman at the well, Jesus teaches her. God has always sought from the beginning a people he calls the true worshiper to be his family here through the church and one day in heaven through all eternity. One of the difficulties with the church today, as I see it, is its persistence to follow an erroneous tradition known as going to church on Sunday for worship. The reality is nothing further from the truth. Jesus warned about following traditions of men: In vain, they do worship me (Matthew 15:9). Jesus spent much of his time in his earthly ministry disputing with the Pharisees over their traditions which they made binding on the people. Traditions are like habits, once you engage in them they are hard to break. We turn the clock ahead in the spring and back in the fall as a matter of tradition, nothing spiritual about it. But when a spiritual activity is based on tradition, it has no scriptural support for its practice and it can be devastating in its effect on those who practice it.

This book deals with the need to slay the sacred cow, known as going to church for worship. There is no evidence in the book of Acts of the church assembling for worship. Acts reveals much activity about the church but worship is not one of them. This book reveals to the reader the many activities designed by God to bring the saints to a meaningful worship experience and one which is approved by God and one he has been seeking since the foundation of the world. The book is controversial to say the least. Only because tradition has such a grip on the church's lack of understanding of what Jesus meant by true worship, in my opinion. We know the new Jerusalem will eventually come down to earth in fullness (Rev. 21:2-3). But toward that increasing end, we are told to receive the heavenly Jerusalem with gratitude here and now and with the faith of a child (Heb. 12:22-24, 28; Mark 10:15; Mat. 19:14). Joyously bold declarations of repentance and faith are needed throughout the church to remove the obstacles and build a highway for God so His glory can be revealed more fully in our day (Isa. 57:14: Isa. 40:3-5).

This book will help you to recognize the practical evidence of how we try to fill our need for God's presence and kingdom with what we get from worldly substitutions, other people, sinful behaviors, and ourselves. It explains that in doing this, we receive pride that we put on like a coat around us for identity. Without realizing it, we put faith in our pride and try to abide inside it for protection, strength, and worth instead of receiving God's kingdom and presence as needed. This book also explains repentance as a joyous process that changes our minds one step after another as we listen to ourselves, making bold and joyous declarations of repentance and faith. The more our declarations break down our self-protection and align our thinking with God's Word, the more we shake off the coat of worldly sources and displace those things by receiving the kingdom of Heaven like a garment we put on around us here. By continuing to take one step after another, your joyously courageous declarations will help you direct your heart into the place of playfully childlike faith that lets you live in greater holiness and more freely receive God's presence and kingdom as armor and as what crushes the kingdom of darkness in increasing ways.
