Es ist daher unabdingbar den Kinderschutz in diesem gesellschaftlich relevanten Bereich strukturell zu gewahrleisten. Die Dachorganisationen des deutschen Sports haben dieses Problem erkannt und sind bemuht ihre Fachverbande entsprechend zu sensibilisieren. Diese Studie beschaftigt sich mit den aktuellen nationalen Entwicklungen des Schutzes vor der Kindeswohlgefahrdung des sexuellen Missbrauchs an Kindern und Jugendlichen, im Rahmen des organisierten Sports. Der Autor diskutiert die vorgeschlagenen Massnahmen des Deutschen Olympischen Sportbundes\/ der Deutschen Sportjugend und untersucht die Umsetzung in den einzelnen Sportfachverbanden. Am konkreten Beispiel des Berliner Fussballverbandes zeigt der Verfasser positive Ansatze ebenso auf, wie weiterhin vorhandene strukturelle Probleme. How have people operationalized culture in every day life to establish DRR practice? What constitutes a resilient culture and what role does culture play in a society’s decision making? It is natural for people to seek refuge in tried and trust methods of disaster mitigation, however, culture and belief systems are constantly evolving. How these coping strategies can be introduced into DRR therefore poses a challenging question. Finally, Section III examines the effectiveness of key scientific frameworks for understanding the role of culture in disaster risk reduction and management.
