From camps on or near the ocean to forest camps throughout the Cascade Range and into the desert regions of both states you're sure to find the perfect place to tie up for the night. Most of the camps are set in beautiful northwest forests and offer streams, rivers or lakes for you to enjoy fishing, swimming or boating when you're not out riding the trail. And the trails are endless, many located at the campground and journeying into forests leading to other beautiful northwest locations. On the east side in Washington State, ride the canyons, acres of grassland, basalt cliffs, and glacial potholes. In Oregon, visit the Steens Mountains, Vinegar Hill-Indian Rock Scenic Area, North Fork John Day and Eagle Cap Wilderness' and the Snake River and Hells Canyon Wilderness. Campground fees can range from up to $20.00 per night on down to $8.00 per night with many only requiring a Northwest Forest Pass or Discover Pass. Some are no fee at all. Whichever state you choose either Washington or Oregon, you're bound to find exactly the right place to stay the night and enjoy what both of these beautiful states have to offer.","brand":"WoB","offers":[{"title":"US \/ GOOD \/ SBYB","offer_id":50378555064593,"sku":"CIN1505272351G","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0784\/4072\/6801\/files\/1505272351.jpg?v=1751307391"},{"product_id":"ray-s-guides-book-ray-knowlton-9781500585402","title":"Ray's Guides","description":"Washington State offers many beautiful and often remote and secluded campgrounds throughout the state. From the lush green Rain forest of the Olympic Peninsula to the rugged mountain regions of the Northeast, and south through the Yakima Valley and as far southeast as the northern reaches of the Umatilla National Forest located just south of the small but quaint town of Pomeroy. Many others can be found from the southern border at the Columbia River northwards to the Okanogan Valley. Rivers, streams, lakes and mountains await your visit with plenty of hiking trails available that you can use for day hike excursions or take off for days of wilderness exploring. If you enjoy canoeing or kayaking, be sure to bring them along since many of these campgrounds are set on lakes, some big enough to spend days exploring. Bring your bicycles as well  The most important thing though is to get out there and enjoy the beautiful areas that Washington State has to offer. Beats the heck out of camping on pavement.","brand":"WoB","offers":[{"title":"US \/ WELL_READ \/ SBYB","offer_id":50388123910417,"sku":"CIN1500585408A","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false},{"title":"US \/ VERY_GOOD \/ SBYB","offer_id":50959337849105,"sku":"CIN1500585408VG","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false},{"title":"US \/ NEW \/ INGRAM","offer_id":51030891069713,"sku":"NIN9781500585402","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false},{"title":"US \/ GOOD \/ SBYB","offer_id":52450522235153,"sku":"CIN1500585408G","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0784\/4072\/6801\/files\/1500585408.jpg?v=1751211880"},{"product_id":"ray-s-guides-book-ray-knowlton-9781986846080","title":"Ray's Guides","description":"Idaho is a Campers paradise, and about as wild in many places, as it gets in the lower 48. Bordered by Montana and Wyoming to the east, Nevada and Utah to the south, and Oregon and Washington to the west, this is truly some beautiful country. Many of the free campgrounds in Idaho are accessed by gravel road only. But not to worry, most are 2 Wheel drive accessible. However, you may want to consider a high clearance vehicle. And these gravel roads are going to lead you through some of the most beautiful and rugged country you are likely to see anywhere. From the Bonners Ferry area to the north and then south through St. Maries, and even further south to Grangeville and east to the Historic towns of Elk City and Dixie then south to Boise and the middle fork of the Boise River and points east, this state has it all. Idaho also has an abundance of what are known as Sportsmans Access sites. You'll see signs indicating these sites everywhere. I only visited a small number of these sites, and most were real finds. Check them out, most seem to have bathrooms and at least fire rings.","brand":"WoB","offers":[{"title":"US \/ NEW \/ INGRAM","offer_id":50994846236945,"sku":"NIN9781986846080","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false},{"title":"US \/ VERY_GOOD \/ SBYB","offer_id":51163254522129,"sku":"CIN1986846083VG","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0784\/4072\/6801\/files\/1986846083.jpg?v=1750998201"},{"product_id":"ray-s-guides-book-ray-knowlton-9781502457332","title":"Ray's Guides","description":null,"brand":"WoB","offers":[{"title":"US \/ GOOD \/ SBYB","offer_id":53004616302865,"sku":"CIN1502457334G","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false},{"title":"US \/ NEW \/ INGRAM","offer_id":53363749749009,"sku":"NIN9781502457332","price":0.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0784\/4072\/6801\/files\/9781502457332.jpg?v=1767842252"}],"url":"https:\/\/www.worldofbooks.com\/en-gb\/collections\/author-books-by-ray-knowlton.oembed","provider":"World of Books ","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
