Her passion for desserts drove her to spend ten years working in London hotels and restaurants before joining a major U.K. supermarket as a development chef. During this time she visited America researching bakery products for the U.K. retail market. She later pursued a freelance career, writing for many food magazines, and she also lectured on food. Phillipa currently works as a freelance cookery writer and food stylist specialising in all things sweet!
