Little Elephant by Catherine House
The little elephant, amazed at all the different animals he sees (creatures in the water, birds in the air) asks his mother, "Can God love them, wherever they go?". The little elephant admits that he is afraid of the dark, his mother gently reminds him that just as the loving God is with the birds and the whales, he is also with us, wherever we are and whatever our situation.
Catherine House started writing children's books when she lived in Zimbabwe with her husband and two children. With a degree in theology, she writes for Christian publishers as well as specialising in educational books for African schools. Catherine has had thirteen books published world-wide to date.
