Living With Bereavement by Sue Mayfield

Bereavement is an experience that touches everyone, but no two people experience it in the same way. This honest and reassuring book offers practical, emotional and spiritual help for anyone undergoing the mixed emotions and confusion that bereavement can bring, and points the way to healing. Personal stories, anecdotes and quotations are included, along with evocative colour images that create a sense of peace and allow space for reflection.
Sue Mayfield is an award-winning writer best known for her novels for teenagers, several of which deal with issues of bereavement and loss. Since 2004 she has been engaged in a number of Arts-in-Health projects and has been writer in residence in hospitals, GP surgeries, schools and a hospice, working with people to tell their stories and express their emotions. Sue Mayfield facilitates creative writing for people affected by cancer at Maggie's Centre in Cheltenham where she lives with her husband and their three grown up children. She is the author of Living With Bereavement also published by Lion Hudson.
