Tells of the love affair between Cecil Beaton and Greta Garbo, who met and fell in love in the 1930s. He wooed her over 20 years by letters, all of which are reproduced in this book. In the end, Garbo did visit Beaton at Broadchalke. Vickers is the author of "Debrett's Book of the Royal Wedding".
