Netflix by Sara Green
Netflix has played a role in making binge-watching a thing. Seventy percent of its users watch television series episode after episode after episode in one sitting! This children's book rewinds Netflix back to its beginning, when the focus was mailing DVDs, and then expands upon the company's growth over a decade.
Sara Green holds a PhD degree in Science Studies from Aarhus University on the topic: Systems Biology and the Quest for General Principles. Her research focuses on the philosophical implications of new strategies in the life sciences with special focus on systems biology and systems medicine. Sara was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science, University of Pittsburgh, in 2014/2015, and is now post.doc. at the Department of Science Education, University of Copenhagen.
