The authors discuss how to start research, the range of tools, research methods, and approaches which can be applied, as well as how to report and disseminate research findings. Also contained are learning objectives and practical advice to make understanding and practising research easier. Written by well-known authors and researchers in the field, this completely revised and extensively expanded, popular text continues to provide a 'must have' introduction to the world of research.
