The Razor's Edge by Andrew Muir
Whilst most of rock's elder statesmen rarely venture far from home, the ultimate rock icon Bob Dylan has spent practically all of his life since 1986 touring the globe. Why? this fascinating book documents the ups and downs of this unprecedented trek, and tries to get to grips with exactly what it all means both to Dylan and the Bobcats - dedicated Dylan followers who trade tapes of every show and regularly cross the globe to see him. Part rock criticism, part cultural analysis, this is a book that will appeal to all Dylan fans. Major reviews/features scheduled.
