Dick King-Smith is one of the world's favourite children's book authors. His titles include the much-loved Sophie books, Aristotle (9780744566802), which was shortlisted for the 2005 Blue Peter Book Awards, and The Sheep-Pig, which was turned into the Oscar-winning Hollywood film, Babe. Dick lives in Bristol. Mini Grey was given her name after being born in a Mini in a car park in Wales. She is the author and illustrator of The Pea and the Princess, which was shortlisted for the 2003 Kate Greenaway Medal, Traction Man Is Here!, shortlisted for the 2005 Kate Greenaway Medal, and Biscuit Bear, winner of the 2004 Gold Smarties Book Prize for Under Fives. She studied at Brighton College of Art and now lives in Oxford.
