
A Voyage Round Great Britain by William Daniell
This final volume covers the seventh, eighth and ninth stages of Addey's voyage from Orkney to Southend-on-Sea recording the same scenes as William Daniell, RA had back in the early nineteenth century. The artist William Daniell travelled round the coasts of Britain between 1813 and 1823 recording coastal features, David Addey Has retraced Daniell's footsteps and produced the same views in watercolour. Daniells' engravings are reproduced alongside Addey's with text and comment from both artists.
(Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent) trained and practised as an architect but since 1975 has been a professional artist, specialising in topographical subjects. He has exhibited in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Washington D.C., Normandy and Eire. Over 2000 of his works have been sold to collectors throughout the world.
