Flat signed by the author. Heavy cracking to gutters, causing pages to become detached. Front board is loose. Pages are mildly tanned with light foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Illustrations are moderately tanned with some foxing. Front endpaper is detached but still present. Glue marks to front hinge. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Small white ink marks to front board.
