1915. Second Impression. 274 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Signed by the author. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Signed by the author to front endpaper, dedicated to 'D'Arcy'. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with some creased corners and foxing. Heavier tanning to both endpapers and pastedowns, heavy foxing to text block edges. Pen inscription to top edge of title page. minor cracks to gutters throughout, yet binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with some slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Tanning and handling marks to spine and edges. Frays to cloth at top spine end. Book has a slight forward lean. Some faint water marks to boards and spine.
