As well as having his own novel and short stories published, he's been on the judging panels of numerous literary awards including The British Book Awards (2017) and The Costa Book Awards (2020). RuPaul praised his blog on his podcast 'What's the Tee?' after Eric recommended he read Damon Galgut's novel Arctic Summer.
