Hi, I'm Roland Denzel, and I used to be fat. Like I said, I used to be fat, and now I'm not. I've lost a lot of weight (110 pounds!), and I've kept it off for over ten years. I've learned a lot about diet, nutrition, and exercise, but also a lot about myself. After slimming down, I found that exercise and healthy living was no longer a chore, but a joy! I've transformed from a lifelong couch potato to a trainer, kettlebell coach, and nutritionist. My weight loss journey has also spawned an interest in healthier eating. I'm a self-taught cook, but I'm also educated through Precision Nutrition, where I got my Pn1 Certification. Of course, I couldn't have written Man on Top without my wife Galina (aka Galya), who's a great motivator to me and to her clients! Galya is a top notch personal trainer, cookbook author, and a former owner (before her move to the US) of Bulgaria's best and most successful personal training studio and gym! Hi, my name is Galina Ivanova Denzel and I have spent the last 10 years of my life helping people get fit and healthy. I am a Restorative Exercise(TM) Specialist, personal trainer, nutrition coach, cookbook author, and fitness writer. I specialize in working with people with special needs, from pregnancy and postnatal recovery, to low back and knee pain, diabetes or osteoporosis. in addition to who just want to lose some fat and get in shape. In addition to working with my local clients, I have created a growing online consulting practice, and get to work with people all over the world! I enjoy cooking and working on new recipes daily, and while some of my girly ones didn't make Man on Top, I keep people well fed with delicious and simple healthy food. If you already own the book, you've had my shakes and more! Drop us a line; let us know what you think! We hope you enjoy Man on Top, and we know you'll find great success within it, and within yourself!
