Marbled end papers and text-block edge. Vol 3 of 12. 'Whitaker, Bookseller, 41 Pall Mall' sticker to front paste-down. Pages are mostly clean, with notable foxing only reserved for the end papers. Rebinding process has left the binding tight. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Spine gilt lettering has become dull. Spine head and tail are crushed with flaking leather. Joints are worn and beginning to split.
