Aztec Myths & Tales by Anthony Aveni
This collection of classic texts explores the history, gods, calendars and tales of the Aztecs, as well as other Mesoamerican cultures such as the Maya, plus the Incas in Peru. Such myths explained life and death by linking them to the earth, sky and sea in a grand cosmic scheme, from the war god Huitzilopochtli to the supreme deity Tezcatlipoca.Dr. Anthony F.
