Ian Whybrow is a well-loved writer with a wonderful talent for capturing children's humour and imagination. He has written a number of books for Macmillan, including The Bedtime Bear and The Christmas Bear, both with Axel Scheffler. Ian is also well-known for his Little Wolf series and the Harry and the Dinosaur series.

Axel Scheffler is a star illustrator within the children's book world, and has created many prize-winning and best-selling books for Macmillan. He has enjoyed particular success in his collaborations with Julia Donaldson. Their books include The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and The Gruffalo's Child.
