Flusser is well noted for designing Michael Douglas' outfit in Wall Street, as well as his costume work in great films like Scent of a Woman and American Psycho, both of which starred Christian Bale. Alan Flusser Designs, which he created in 1979, is his company's president. Flusser was named to Vanity Fair's International Best-Dressed List for the first time in 1988. He is a New Yorker.
